In 2025, participants rated SSPF with an 8.6. Personal guidance around pension choices also received a score of 8.9. With all the upcoming changes, trust in SSPF remains strong. The transition to the new pension scheme raises questions about certainty, personal choices and the future of pensions. That is why SSPF continues to invest significantly in communication and guidance. Through webinars, newsletters, personal conversations and the CARE programme, participants are guided step by step through the changes. The fund also takes the needs of different participant groups into account — from employees who are still accruing pension to retirees and former employees with pension at SSPF.
Participants who are less digitally skilled receive extra support as well. This includes printed communication and cooperation with Voeks, the network for former Shell employees. According to SSPF, clear communication is an essential part of a good pension scheme, especially now that participants will make more personal choices about their pension.
