In 2025, SSPF received three prestigious awards: the Dutch PensioenPro Award (Best Pension Fund with assets exceeding €15 billion) and two European IPE Awards (Best Corporate Pension Fund in Europe and Best Dutch Pension Fund).

According to the expert juries, SSPF ranks among the best-performing pension funds in the Netherlands and Europe. The awards were not based solely on investment performance. The combination of financial stability, risk management, communication and preparation for the new pension scheme played a key role.

According to the juries, SSPF demonstrates that a pension fund can remain financially strong and well governed during a period of major change. The way participants are being guided towards the new pension scheme was also taken into account. In 2025, SSPF invested significantly in clear communication, webinars, personal guidance and the CARE programme.
